the Sex Life your Queer Self Deserves
Gay, queer, trans, and BIPOC-affirming sex therapy with Harry Dixon, MA, LMHC, LPCC, LPC, CST — a gay, Korean American sex therapist who understands your world. No shame, no judgment, no heteronormativity. Just real, genuine, compassionate expert support & care.
Therapy that's
intentionally inclusive & affirming.
Gay, bi, queer, trans, & gender diverse men face a distinct psychological landscape — internalized shame, discrimination, isolation, cultural misunderstandings, community pressures, kinks, fetishes, relationships that don't fit conventional molds, and the long shadow of stigma. Most therapy simply wasn't designed with them in mind.
As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I offer a space where nothing is off-limits — where your desires, your history, and your full humanity are welcomed, understood, and embraced.
Whether you're working through shame, navigating a relationship, or building a stronger connection to your own sexuality — you belong here.

Hi,
I'm Harry.
I'm an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC#4340) specializing in sexual health and mental well-being for gay, bi, straight, trans, gender diverse and queer men. I built my practice because most therapy spaces weren't designed with us in mind.
My approach is warm, direct, and genuinely queer-centered. I don't pathologize desire. I don't flinch at complexity. I work with you as a whole person — including the parts you've been told to keep quiet.
I completed my Masters in Counseling from the University of San Diego and hold licensure across California, Washington, New York, and Oregon, with specialized certification in sex therapy through Sexual Health Alliance (SHA) and AASECT.

Common
questions.
Do I have to be gay to work with you?
No — this practice is built for gay men and the LGBTQ+ community broadly, but all who feels at home in this space are welcome.
What states do you work with clients in?
I am licensed for telehealth in California (LPCC #4340), Washington (LMHC #LH60684311), New York (LMHC #015648), and Oregon (Licensed Counselor #C8199).
Is sex therapy just talking about sex?
Sex therapy is talk therapy focused on sexual and relational well-being. Sessions never involve physical touch. We work through concerns, patterns, and goals entirely in therapeutic, professional conversation.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an in network with Cigna only. For all other plans, I am an out-of-network provider. I provide superbills for potential reimbursement through your insurance. Fee information is available upon request or at first contact.
What does AASECT Certified mean?
AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists) certification is the gold standard in sex therapy. It requires specialized supervised training, education hours, and adherence to a professional code of ethics specifically in human sexuality.
I've had bad therapy experiences before. Why would this be different?
That's worth raising directly — and I welcome it. Many gay men have encountered therapy that felt clinical, misaligned, or quietly judgmental. This practice was built differently from the start.
